Michael C. Albert, MDDr. Albert was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. He attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, where he graduated with honors and was selected to Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society. He ran cross-country and track while attending Miami. Following college he received his medical degree from Wright State University and was president of his class. He was chosen as Intern of the Year at Miami Valley Hospital/Wright State University where he completed his orthopaedic residency. Following completion of his fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics and pediatric spine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Albert became Medical Director of Orthopaedics at the Children's Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society and is past recipient of the Wright State University Academy of Medicine Outstanding Faculty Member. Dr. Albert is an active member in numerous professional societies including the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and Scoliosis Research Society. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees at the Children's Medical Center. He enjoys skiing and spending time with his children.
